• This individual will work closely with developers contributing to the Thruster protocol. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the smart contracts and related interfaces for Thruster. You will also work closely with teams building with and on Thruster, supporting integrations.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or proven track record working on smart contracts that have held TVL / supported many users without any exploit
• Proven experience in smart contract development and blockchain engineering, preferably in the DeFi space.
• Proficiency in Foundry and/or Brownie frameworks
• Proficiency in Solidity, Vyper, or other smart contract programming languages.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
• Experience with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), Web3.js, Truffle, and other blockchain development tools.
• Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols such as Uniswap, Compound, Aave, MakerDAO, etc.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, code auditing, and vulnerability assessment methodologies in the context of smart contracts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work in SGT or similar timezone

We’re looking for a Blockchain Engineer who can continue to drive Thruster forward in our goal to be the home of DeFi & liquidity in the Blast ecosystem.
